Atari calls it "A luxurious sci-fi landscape in Dreams Uncorporated's unique, hand-drawn style.". Welcome to Atari's re-imagined Lunar Lander. This game contains 30 missions across five different moons. Our own moon, called Nueva Luna in the game, Mars, Venus (which of course are not a moons at all but planets), Ganymede and the mysterious Etimus.

The game has a richer plot of course than the original. You are a captain of the Pegasus corporation, and your job is to guide pilots through a series of missions to deliver cargo to and from, rescue stranded pilots on different planets and their moons. You may ancounter a strange portal that leads to the mysterious Etimus. Etimus is a strange world full of space themed hallucinations.

There are four difficulty levels with the highest one bordering the impossible, imminent death is lurking as soon as the game starts. The game offers various different options for the pilot of your ship, four unique ships, and the ability to equip your ship with a dozen or so upgrades.

Lunar Lander is available for the Atari VCS (of course), Nintendo Switch, Xbox, Steam and PlayStation platforms. Not only can the game be purchased digitally, but a limited run of physical editions is released as well. Atari realizes that a lot of folks would like to get their hands on a copy they can hold in their hands, especially because Lunar Lander has a lot of nostalgia attached to it from the old Atari 2600 days.
