PC Engine CoreGrafx
The PC Engine CoreGrafx is an updated model of the PC Engine that was released in Japan in 1989. It has some improvements over the previous version. The CPU was replaced with the HuC6280A, which supposedly fixed some minor audio issues that the PC Engine had. The RF output connector to connect the unit to a Television set was replaced by a more generic Composite Video AV port, allowing much better quality video output.
Interestingly another version of the CoreGrafx, the CoreGrafx II, was introduced in 1991, the coloring of the case was lighter gray and orange, but otherwise it is identical to the CoreGrafx, with the notable exception that the CPU was changed back to the original HuC6280.
