Super Lady Cassette Vision - A Super Cassette Vision for women

The Super Lady Cassette Vision was a limited edition of Epoch’s Super Cassette Vision video console, released in Japan in 1985. It was aimed at the female gamer market. The console and carrying case were bright pink. The system came bundled with the game Milky Princess, which like all Super Cassette Vision cartridges was bright pink to match the console.

The Super Lady Cassette Vision was fully compatible with the Super Cassette Vision library of games, though this only extended to 30 titles.

The Super Lady Cassette Vision sold poorly and it wasn’t until 1995 that another manufacturer tried creating a video game console aimed at female gamers, in the form of the Casio Loopy.
