Telstar Colortron

The Telstar Colortron came in a plastic case and featured the earlier style built-in knobs as paddles. The games are the same as in the Telstar Alpha: Hockey, handball, tennis, and jai alai (or squash). The games feature automatic server and variable skill settings. The machine was powered by an AC adapter or six C-style batteries.

The games were in color due to the new Ball and Paddle chip, the General instruments AY-3-8510. The unit had a built in beeper for sounds. Where the Telstar colormatic displayed each game in a different color, this machine was capable of displaying multiple colors within a single game.
