Magnavox Odyssey 200
Alongside the Odyssey 100, Magnavox also released the Odyssey 200 as a luxury version of the Odyssey 100. The two consoles were marketed and released at the same time, with the 200 at a slightly higher price point. The biggest difference was that the Odyssey 200 had one extra game built in, "Smash" which was a squash type of game where the user bounces a ball against a wall repeatedly.
Internally the machines used the same Texas Instruments chip-set but the Odyssey 200 had two extra chips that provided the logic for the smash game. It also allowed for four on-screen paddles, instead of the two paddles that were very common at the time. Magnavox did not however add more physical controls, so even though the machine was able to display four paddles for four players, only two players could physically operate the machine. There was no on-screen score keeping, and like the Odyssey 100, the case had two sliders that users could use to keep score, or one could just use pen and paper to do the same.
The machine uses six C-Type batteries or a 9V wall adapter for power and has the same three knobs for controlling the games as its little brother.
