The awesome Konami game Mikie has been ported to the Atari XL/XE range of computers by a group of Polish retro programmers: Krzystof Gora, Michal Szpilowski, and Krzysztof Ziembik.
This is a gem of a game from the late 1980s that was not originally released for the Atari range of computers. The game was ported to the Commodore 64, Amstrad, BBC Micro, and ZX Spectrum computers but not Atari. This has finally been rectified
The game is based off of the BBC Micro code, but has significant improgements. The sound effects, music, and graphics are much better than the other versions.
In the game, you play a student named Mikie and you guide him around the school locations to collect hearts that together form a letter from his girlfriend. Members of the school staff do not like his behavior and chase him around, making the quest difficult.
